Ocean Park

On friday, our class went to Ocean Park with our teachers(Mr.Woo and Mr.Lee).The organizer was Mr.Woo because he wanted us could go there and learnt English. At about 9:00 a.m, we went to Ocean Park from our school by trip-bus. It took a few time to arrive there and we waited 15 minutes outside the Ocean Park because the Ocean Park opened at 10:00 a.m.

There aren't many people to go there so we only waited a few minutes to play games and all of us enjoyed so much. At about 11:10 a.m, the odd numbers' group went to listen the panda course and I learnt many things about pandas like their habitats and reproductions. Then, the Panda course instructor Amy brought us to another class and taught us the features of the animals and gave us some animals' skulls. They are giant panda, bear, cougar and deer.

Then, we had free time. We rode cable cars upwards and had much fun there. We ate our lunch at the food court quickly because we wanted to have more time to play more games. At about 2:10 p.m, the whole class went to listen the dolphin course. I learnt the dolphin skeleton and we did the comparison between human' s skeleton and dolphin' s skeleton. I thought this course had less fun than the panda course and I felt sleeply. At about 3:00 p.m, the course ended and we went to play games in about 30 minutes because we needed to leave the Ocean Park at 3:30 p.m.

I hope we would go to there again and had more time to stay there. Besides, I felt lucky because our class was the one in our school which had a chance to go to Ocean Park to learn so i need to thank Mr.Woo here.

We interviewed a woman on the street in YMT. We did it on Saturday. We use questionnire to interview her. I have learnt that we need to help each others.

Hello!My name was Kathy. I was seventeen years old. I had a father, a mother and a sister. They were not very cared of me because in this society, boys are more important than girls so my family sent me to a noble and be a servant. I was born in the Middle Stone Age at 1400AD and I died at 1430AD.

My job was a servant and I lived unhappily in the noblr because they always shouted at me and ordered me to do some hard work. Every night, I will cry because of my family. I missed them so much and I didn't know why they sold me because I was a girl!!!Because of those reasons, I killed myself with a knife.

I hated the Feudalism in the society of that time because the Fedalism was made girl so unfair but in nowaday, at least it is fair to everybody and I would like to born in this society.

I would feel nervous,helpless and afriad to abandon everything familiar for the completely unknown.

There had a similar experience in eleven years old when I needed to go to secondly school to study. I was so worried about going to a new secondly school because I had no friends there and I was afraid that I could not get good results at this band 1 school and all teachers would teach us with English. My mum knew that and chatted with me a lot. She said some interesting and exciting experiences of her secondly life and made me felt more interests of my new secondly life. Luckily, I made many new and kind friends in my first day of secondly life. Also, Icould adapt the learning education at this school.

Now, I don't feel nervous,helpless and afraid to go to school anymore because I have adapted this school life for long long lime ago. I hope I can get more unforgettable experiences from Methodist College!
